January 7th, 2008
I have been getting busy in the office for the last week already, but UltraSuperNew officially opened its doors for the year today. So, a big happy new year from all at USN.
2007 was a big first year for us and we came much further than we imagined we could thanks to a great team and some pretty great clients as well. Here is a brief recap :
In January 2007, we started USN with the idea to meet a need for quality interactive projects for our clients that both understood the technology and understood how to market the projects.
We were lucky to get some great projects early in the year from the Western Australian Government, Specialized Group and what has now become a longstanding client, Lexxica. A great travel portal project for KLM also came in early in the year and as we moved to the second half, projects for Klein Dytham Architecture, Pecha Kucha Night and Volvo. The finish for the year brought a big viral project for Philips and the beginnings of a couple of our own projects to be launched in the new year. That isn’t even the full list with some ongoing projects for Guy Perryman and Normal and more.
Needless to say it was a busy 2007.
2008 already looks to be an exciting one, with some great projects on the horizon (sorry, I can’t say too much yet). What I can tell you is that we have another exciting project related to traveling on the way, plus a project called Press Army that we will release shortly.
The other thing that is new this year is this blog. This site used to just have my bio on it, which had limited use. I started writing for the Japan Times late last year and so I felt it was time to step it up a notch in terms of communicating about what we are up to at USN as well. This site will grow over time and I will try to keep it pumping.
All the best for 2008!
