Robin, not sure about Umet, but ume is a Japanese Plum, and there are many drinks made from it. Umeshu is probably the best known, its an alcoholic drink.

I stumbled across your site from google, but maybe you can help me! The Ume Soda flavored kit kat is what strikes my interest. My husband lived in Japan for several years, while there he fell in love with an Ume juice drink that he found. He thinks it might be called Umet? I was hoping you might know of it. If you know the company name or have any help, email me, I'd love to find this drink so that we could enjoy it again!

Beautifully executed Sheetal. I remember my initial amusement with the macha and peach varieties... some time ago now... I am very pleased to learn that this bad boy, 充実野菜 is now bouncing about in a chocolate bar. Funny.

You well?
