At USN we seem to be doing more and more event work. Last Friday we did the Reebok Pump 20th Anniversary party in Tokyo. The location for this one was Mado Lounge, on the 52nd floor of the Roppongi Hills Mori Tower with a stunning backdrop view over the city.

This is a Photo I managed to snap on a weekend trip up to Hokkaido a couple of weeks ago while flying out of Haneda airport. Reasonably clear day, great light, and just a nice touch of smog in the air to give that “city all the way to the mountain” look.

I have lived in Japan for more than 7 years now and it still amazes me the flavours that can be stuck into a chocolate bar. Here in Japan, Kit Kat seems to reinvent itself on an almost daily basis by switching up flavours on us.

Today we launched Red Bull Crowdcast, which is as far as I know the first time a global brand has handed over the keys of live casting an event to the audience and allowing them to show their vision of the event in real time.

Today while checking out the International Association of Athletics Federations website, I noticed a little link to an “Accessible Version”. For a start I think it is hilarious that the main website is not considered accessible and they need a separate version to do that. Taito asked us to take a mobile phone with “Chokkan Band”, a game that lets you play guitar and other instruments and have some fun. We decided the best way to do that was to get friend of USN, Shiri, some bright pink makeup, bad fitting clothes, and see where we could get away with playing Chokkan Band around Tokyo.

Via a tip from one of my team here at UltraSuperNew, I found that apparently there is a new niche market in Tokyo.
The lucrative “girls who travel to Tokyo via Shinkansen (bullet train) in search of love” demographic is apparently on the rise and are now being catered to with their own magazine called Shinkansen&Love.
