Doraemon takes over the App Store in Japan

Visitors to the Japanese App Store on iTunes today were greeted with an array of character parts that an astute eye could recognise as the cartoon character, Doraemon. Yahoo Japan (who has strong connections with Softbank, the carrier who has iPhone in the Japanese market) has released a selection of Doraemon themed Apps that have [...]

Top 10 UltraSuperNew Projects of 2009

On our final day in the office for 2009, we spent a little time discussing our favorite projects for the year and for me, this past year was really something to be proud of. We managed to step it up to the next level this year, and even though some days it seemed like a tornado of different things all demanding attention, we managed to achieve a lot. In the end, keeping the list down to 10 projects…

Hatocafe

Pump 20

Pump 20 entrance

At USN we seem to be doing more and more event work. Last Friday we did the Reebok Pump 20th Anniversary party in Tokyo. The location for this one was Mado Lounge, on the 52nd floor of the Roppongi Hills Mori Tower with a stunning backdrop view over the city.

Tokyo to Mt. Fuji

Tokyo to Fuji

This is a Photo I managed to snap on a weekend trip up to Hokkaido a couple of weeks ago while flying out of Haneda airport. Reasonably clear day, great light, and just a nice touch of smog in the air to give that “city all the way to the mountain” look.

[KitKat] Ume Soda, Sports Drink, Replenishing Vegetables

kitkat_umesoda

I have lived in Japan for more than 7 years now and it still amazes me the flavours that can be stuck into a chocolate bar. Here in Japan, Kit Kat seems to reinvent itself on an almost daily basis by switching up flavours on us.
